Dan is-sinjal isir b’ id waħda bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 imma bis-swaba’ imbegħdin minn xulxin. L-id togħla u tinżel darbtejn jew iktar waqt li s-swaba’ jperpru.

Is-sinjal għal ŻGĦIR jew għal KBIR isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ Ċ. L-idejn iħarsu lejn xulxin bil-pala magħluqa. Id-distanza bejn l-idejn tindika d-daqs tal-brama. Is-sinjal għal KBIR jew għal ŻGĦIR jiġi wara s-sinjal għal BRAMA.

Għall-plural, l-id bil-forma taċ-Ċ titpoġġa f’punti differenti fiż-żona tas-sinjali qisu hemmhekk qed jitqiegħdu ħafna bram. Inkella jista’ jintuża s-sinjal għal ĦAFNA wara s-sinjal għal BRAMA.

Meta n-nom BRAMA ikun is-suġġett ta’ verb ta’ moviment, l-id fil-forma ta’ 5 milwi tintuża bħala classifier u timxi skond l-azzjoni tal-verb. Inkella l-id forma ta’ Ċ bil-pala magħluqa u tħares lejn l-art tintuża bħala classifier u timxi skond l-azzjoni tal-verb.

The sign is made with one hand and palm facing downwards. The hand takes the shape of 5 but with fingers apart. The hand moves up and down twice or more whilst the fingers flutter.

The sign for SMALL or for LARGE is made with the hands in the shape of Ċ with the closed palm of one hand facing the other. The distance between the hands is used to indicate the size of the jellyfish. The sign is used after the sign for JELLYFISH.

To express the plural, the hand in the Ċ shape is placed at different points in the signing space as though several jellyfish were being placed there. The sign for MANY may be used after the sign for JELLYFISH instead.

When the noun JELLYFISH is the subject of a verb of movement, the hand in the shape of bent 5 acts as the classifier and moves according to the action of the verb. Alternatively, the hand in the shape of Ċ with a closed fist and with the palm facing the ground, is used as a classifier and moves according to the action of the verb.
