Hemm żewġ sinjali għal CARER. L-ewwel sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieqaf bil-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 ftit milwija. Din l-id tittella’ livell fuq ir-ras, bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u tinżel ’l isfel biex il-ġenb tas-saba’ ż-żgħir imiss mal-pala tal-id wieqfa.
It-tieni sinjal tuża l-ewwel sinjal bħala l-ewwel parti. There are two signs for CARER. One hand lies stationary in the shape of 5 with the palm facing upwards whilst the other hand takes the shape of slightly bent 5. This hand is raised to above head level with palm facing downwards and moves down so that the side of the pinkie touches the palm of the stationary hand.
The second sign has an additional part. The hand takes the shape of U and taps the side of the nose twice, moves forward as it turns so that the palm faces outwards to form the sign for AND, then changes to the shape of 1 and taps the side of the nose twice. This part means GRANDFATHER AND GRANDMOTHER.
