Is-sinjal għal COMPUTER PROGRAMMER għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda titwaqqaf mill-minkeb bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa waqt li l-werrej tal-id l-oħra, bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa, jiżżerżaq b’kuntatt tul l-id u d-driegħ sal-minkeb tal-id il-wieqfa. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn it-tnejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 laxq bis-swaba’ mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jinżlu l-isfel bil-mod waqt li s-swaba jperpru qishom qed jikbtbu fuq it-tastiera (keyboard).
The sign for COMPUTER PROGRAMMER has two parts. (i) First, one hand is held stationary upright from the elbow with the palm facing inwards whilst the index finger of the other hand, with palm facing inwards, slides along touching the hand and arm of the stationary hand up to the elbow. (ii) Then both hands take the shape of loose 5 with the fingers apart and palms facing downwards. The hands move down slowly whilst the fingers flutter as though typing on the keyboard.
