Is-sinjal għal CRAYON għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal KULUR. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb u bid-driegħ wieqaf mill-minkeb. L-id tferfer mill-polz ’il fuq. (ii) It-tieni parti hu s-sinjal għal LAPES. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u tieqaf fuq quddiem bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ T bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u timxi żigużajg fuq il-pala tal-id il-wieqfa.
The sign for CRAYON has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for COLOUR which is made with one hand that takes the shape of 5 with fingers apart, palm facing the side and the arm straight upwards from the elbow. The hand flutters from the pulse upwards. (ii) The second part is the sign for PENCIL. One hand takes the shape of 5 and is held stationary at the front with palm facing upwards. The other hand takes the shape of T with palm facing downwards and moves in zigzag fashion over the palm of the stationary hand.
