L-ewwel, iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn laxk id waħda dritta bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb livell tal-għonq u l-id l-oħra bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u bil-ġenb imiss il-polz tal-id l-oħra. L-idejn jimxu flimkien lejn il-ġenb waqt li l-ewwel id iddur biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il fuq. The sign for CRICKET has two parts. First, both hands take the shape of a loose fist, one hand upright with palm facing the side at neck level and the other hand with palm facing downwards and the side of the fist touching the wrist of the first hand. Both hands move together towards the side whilst the first hand turns so that the palm faces upwards. Then, the first hand takes the shape of W at the side, with palm facing outwards whilst the other hand takes the shape of 1 with the palm facing downwards and the index finger resting on the fingertips of the first hand.
