The plural is formed by adding the sign for MANY after the sign for DALMATION. A classifier is often used. In this case one or both hands take the shape of curved V. They are placed at various points in the signing space as though several dogs were actually being put into that space.
When the noun DALMATION is used as the subject of a verb of movement, the shape of curved V or curved 5 is used as a classifier and moves accordingly.
