Is-sinjal għal DAR isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 milwi mill-għekiesi biex l-id tifforma angolu rett. Il-pala tal-id tħares ’l isfel. L-id titqiegħed fil-ġenb fil-livell tar-ras jew ftit iktar ’l isfel u s-swaba jħarsu lejn il-ġenb u timxi ftit ’il quddiem fl-istess livell.

Is-sinjali ivarjaw ftit fil-post eżatt fejn isir is-sinjal, partikolarment kemm togħla l-id. Ġieli s-sinjal isir quddiem ir-ras jew ftit ’isfel mingħajr moviment.

The sign for HOUSE is made with one hand in the shape of 5 bent at the knuckles such that it forms a right angle. The palm faces downwards. The hand is placed at the side of the head or further down, with the fingers pointing towards the side. The hand then moves forward a little at the same level.

The signs vary a little in the exact place, especially the extent to which the hand is raised. Sometimes the sign is made in front of the head or lower down without any movement.
