Is-sinjal għal DAĦAL isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq. Id waħda tieqaf quddiem is-sider, bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa waqt li l-id l-oħra, bil-pala tħares laġenba, tgħaddi ftit ’il fuq minn l-ewwel id u tibqa’ sejra ’l quddiem. Dan is-sinjal jixbaħ is-sinjal għal AĊĊESSIBILITA.

The sign for ENTER is made with both hands in the shape of closed 5. One hand is held stationary at chest level, with the palm facing inwards. The other hand, with palm facing sideways, moves a little distance above the stationary hand and continues forward. This sign resembles that for ACCESSIBILITY.

DAR (VERB)

Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal DAR (il-verb). L-ewwel wieħed isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ B bil-pala tħares laġenba. L-id timxi dritt ’il quddiem imbagħad iddur lejn il-ġenb.

It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-maqlub u bil-pala tħares ’il barra lejn il-ġenb jew ftit ‘il ġewwa. L-id titqiegħed fil-għoli ta’ l-ispalla (jew post ieħor skond il-kuntest) u ddur mill-polz biex l-ewwel tkun imxengla lejn il-ġenb imbagħad iddur għan-naħa ta’ ġewwa. Dan is-sinjal ma jintużax fil-kuntesti kollha.

Jekk it-tifsira hi li l-persuna baqa’ jdur, l-id tibqa’ ddur iktar. L-għaġla jew karatteristiċi oħra jinbidlu biex ikunu jaqblu mal-kuntest.

TURN (VERB)

There are two different signs for TURN (the verb). One sign is made with one hand that takes the shape of B with the palm facing sideways. The hand moves forward and then turns to the side.

The second sign is made with one hand in the shape of upside down 1 with the palm facing the side or slightly inwards. The hand is placed at shoulder level (or elsewhere depending on the context) and turns at the wrist such that it starts off bent towards the side and then turns towards the inside. This sign cannot be used in all contexts.

If the meaning involves a continuous turning, then the hand continues to turn for longer. The speed and other characteristics change according to the context.
