There are two signs for DESPERATE. The first sign is made with both hands in the shape of twisted 5. The hands haphazardly at the sides of the face. The facial expression is serious and the eyes close. The second sign is made with both hands in the shape of curved 5 at the side of the face. The hands move down to the middle in the same curved shape and stop one a little above the other. The facial expression is very serious and the lips pout.
