Is-sinjal għal DDIVIDA ssir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ L kkurvata u tieqaf fuq quddiem livell tal-għonq bil-pala tħares ’il barra. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Il-werrej li jifforma l-1 jistrieħ fuq l-għaksa tas-saba’ tan-nofs tal-id il-wieqfa biex jidher f’nofs in-nofs ċirku ffurmat mil-L kkurvata.
The sign for DIVIDE is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of curved L and is held stationary at neck level with palm facing outwards. The other hand takes the shape of 1 with the palm facing downwards. The index finger that forms the 1 rests on the knuckle of the middle finger of the stationary hand so that it appears in the middle of the half circle formed by the curved L.
