Is-sinjal għal IDDIVORZJA għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda tieqaf mimduda bil-pala tħares ’l isfel waqt li s-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej tal-id l-oħra jiżżerżqu mal-ġnub tas-saba’ taċ-ċurkett qisu qed ineħħu ċurkett. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn, it-tnejn forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel jiltaqgħu fin-nofs u jersqu lejn il-ġnub waqt li jduru biex il-pala tiġi tħares lejn il-ġenb.
The sign for DIVORCE has two parts. (i) The first part is made with one hand lying stationary with palm facing downwards whilst the thumb and index finger of the other hand slide along the sides of the ring finger as though removing a ring. (ii) Then the hands take the shape of 5 with palms facing downwards and meet in the middle and then move to the sides whilst they turn so that the palms face the sides.
