Is-sinjal għal DIVORZJU għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ bil-pala tħares’l isfel jew ’il ġewwa. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ F u taqbad is-saba’ taċ-curkett min-naħa tal-għaksa u tersaq ’il barra mill-id. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u jitqiegħdu ma’ ġenb xulxin bil-pala tħares djagonanment ’l isfel u bil-wiċċ ta’ id tħares djagonalment lejn il-wiċċ tal-id l-oħra. L-idejn jitbiegħdu minn fejn xulxin lejn il-ġnub bil-pala mdawwra lejn il-ġenb.
The sign for DIVORCE has two parts. (i) The first part is made with one hand in the shape of open 5 with palm facing inwards or downwards. The other hand takes the shape of F and holds the ring finger from the knuckle end and then moves away from the hand. (ii) Then the hands take the shape of closed 5 and are placed with palm facing diagonally downwards alongside so that the tops face each other diagonally. The hands move away from each other towards the sides with the the palms facing the sides.
