Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal DIĊEMBRU. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma tan-numru 1 u l-oħra tieħu l-forma tan-numru 2, maġenb xulxin. Il-pala tħares ’il barra. L-idejn jimxu dritt ’l isfel. It-tieni sinjal iktar qadim u jixbaħ is-sinjal għal MILIED. Is-sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma tan-numru 5 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id titqiegħed quddiem il-geddum imbagħad tinżel ’l isfel livell mal-qadd waqt li l-id tingħalaq u l-ponot tas-swaba’ jiltaqgħu. Qisu l-idejn qed imissu daqna twila.
There are two different signs for DECEMBER. The first sign is made with both hand that take the shape of the number 1 beside each other with palm facing outwards. The hands move straight down. The second sign is older and resembles the sign for CHRISTMAS. The sign is made with one hand in the shape of the number 5 with the palm facing inwards. The hand is placed in front of the chin and then moves down to waist level as the hand closes and the fingertips touch. This resembles stroking a long beard.
