Hemm żewġ sinjal għal DULLIEGĦA. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn bis-saba’ l-kbir imiss is-swaba’ l-oħra u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jiltaqgħu jmissu quddiem il-ħalq u jimxu lejn il-ġenb f’linja ikkurvata ftit ’il bogħod mill-wiċċ. Is-sinjal jixbaħ dak għal BETTIEĦA imma l-idejn jimxu distanza itwal. There are two signs for WATERMELON. The first sign is made with both hands and with the thumb touching the other fingers and with palm facing downwards. The hands meet and touch in front of the mouth and move to the side in a curved line some distance away from the face. The sign resembles that for MELON but the hands move a longer distance here. The second sign has two parts. (i) First the first sign is made but the hands do not move the longer distance. (ii) Then the sign for RED is made. The index finger of one hand moves along the lower lip. The other hand stays in the position for end of the first part.
