Is-sinjal għal ERODI magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal RE. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 4 (ġieli ta’ 3) miftuħ bil-pala tħares laġenba u titqiegħed mal-ġenb tal-ġbin. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsiru s-sinjali għall-ittri E, R, O, D u I. Kultant jiġi spellut l-isem biss.
The sign for HEROD consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for KING. One hand takes the shape of open 4 (sometimes 3) with the palm facing sideways at the side of the forehead. (ii) In the second part the signs for the letters E, R, O, D and I, the letters in the Maltese name for Herod, are made. Sometimes the name is simply spelt.
