Is-sinjal għal FUNTANA għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti issir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ Ċ kbira bis-swaba’ miftuħin u bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. L-idejn jiffurmaw it-tarf ta’ ċirku fil-livell tas-sider. Dan ifakkar fil-vaska tal-funtana. (ii) It-tieni parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ O quddiem is-sider u bil-pala tal-id tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jinfetħu f’daqqa ’l fuq u jitilgħu fil-livell tar-ras. Is-swaba’ jistiraw dritti biex ifakkru fl-ilma tal-funtana tiela’ ’l fuq.
The sign for FOUNTAIN consists of two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands in the shape of large Ċ with fingers spread out and with the palms facing each other. The hands form the end of a large circle at chest level. This reminds one of the cistern at the bottom of the fountain. (ii) The second part is made with both hands in the shape of O in front of the chest and with palms facing downwards. The hands open upwards suddenly and move to head level. The fingers stretch upwards reminding one of the fountain water spraying upwards.
