Is-sinjal għal FUSILLI għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal imqassar għal GĦAĠIN. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u titqiegħed bil-pala tħares djagonalment lejn il-ġenb waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ V bil-ponot tas-swaba’ jħarsu lejn l-ewwel id. Is-swaba’ tal-V jduru ’l ġewwa u ’l barra. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Il-werrejja iduru waqt li jersqu ftit lura lejn il-ġnub.
The sign for FUSILLI has two parts. (i) First the shortened sign for PASTA is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 and is held stationary with palm facing sideways diagonally whilst the other hand takes the shape of V with fingertips pointing towards the stationary hand. The V fingers turn inwards and outwards. (ii) Then the hands take the shape of 1 with palms facing inwards. The index fingers rotate whilst they move a little back to the sides.
