Is-sinjal għal GAY isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ L, id bil-pala tħares ’il barra u l-pala tal-id l-oħra tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn jitqiegħdu quddiem, id iktar ’il fuq mill-oħra u bil-werrej tal-id tirkeb il-pala tal-id l-oħra. Il-werrej tal-id t’isfel timxi kemm kemm lura u ’l quddiem fuq il-pala tal-ewwel id xi darbtejn.
The sign for GAY is made with both hands in the shape of L, the palm of one hand facing outwards and the other inwards. The hands are placed at the front, one hand higher up than the other and with the index finger of the lower hand over the palm of the first hand. The index finger of the lower hand moves slightly back and forwards over the palm of the first hand twice or more.
