Is-sinjal għal GĦATU għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir bl-idejn forma ta’ L kkurvata bil-pala ta’ id tħares il-pala tal-id l-oħra. L-idejn l-ewwel jersqu lejn il-ġnub imbagħad ’il fuq. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda tibqa’ fejn hi waqt li l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ A waqt li titla’ ftit iktar ’il fuq u timxi f’linja kkurvata u tkompli lura ’l isfel lejn l-id il-wieqfa.
The sign for LID is made with both hands that take the shape of curved L with palms facing each other. The hands first move to the side and then upwards. (ii) Then one hand stays where it is whilst the other hand takes the shape of A and moves up a little and moves in a curved line and then continues back down towards the stationary hand.
