It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mbegħdin minn xulxin. L-id titqiegħed quddiem bil-pala tħares ’l isfel bis-swaba jperpru.

Varjazzjoni oħra tas-sinjal tuża ż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ stirati mbegħdin minn xulxin. L-id titqiegħed quddiem is-sider bil-pala tħares ’l fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ u kemm kemm mgħawweġ mill-polz u titqiegħed fuq l-id l-oħra.

There are two different signs for ISLAND. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of F with palm facing inwards. The hand moves a short distance a little to the side and back twice or more.

The second sign is made with one hand in the shape of 5 with the fingers apart. The hand is placed at the front, palm facing downwards with the fingers fluttering.

A variation of this sign is made with two hands. One hand is in the shape of 5 with the fingers apart. One hand is placed at the front, palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of slightly curved 5 and is placed over the other hand.
