Is-sinjal għal HAMBURGER isir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ 5 kkurvata. Id waħda bil-pala tħares ’l fuq u l-oħra bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Din l-id tinżel mgħaġġla u tolqot il-pala tal-ewwel id. Varjant ta’ dan is-sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal LAĦAM. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa waqt li l-id l-oħra taqbad il-laħam bejn is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej tal-ewwel id u tiġbdu ftit. (ii) Imbagħad isir l-ewwel sinjal.
The sign for HAMBURGER is made with both hands in the shape of curved 5, one palm facing upwards and the other facing downwards. This hand moves quickly down and hits the palm of the first hand. A variant of this sign has two parts. (i) First, the sign for MEAT is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 with palm facing inwards whilst the other hand grasps the flesh between the thumb and index finger and pulls it lightly. (ii) Then the first sign is made.
