Is-sinjal għal HANDYMAN għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn fil-forma ta’ 5 magħluqa, id waħda tibda bil-pala tħares ’il fuq u l-oħra bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jolqtu ’l xulxin fuq il-pala xi tlett darbiet u kull darba jduru biex il-pala tiġi tħares bil-kontra. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal XOGĦOL. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala ta kull id tħares laġenba u ponn wieħed jitqiegħed fuq l-ieħor.

Hemm varjant ta’ dan is-sinjal li jikkonsisti f’żewġ partijiet ukoll. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal GĦAMEL. Dan isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ U u s-swaba’ tal-U ta’ id waħda jinżlu fuq is-swaba’ tal-id l-oħra darbtejn sakemm imissu. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal KOLLOX. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ, jitqiegħdu qrib ħafna ta’ xulxin bil-pala tħares djagonalment ’il barra fil-livell tal-għonq. L-idejn iduru l-ewwel lejn il-ġnub, ’il barra imbagħad ’il ġewwa jiffurmaw bħal ballun u l-pala ta’ kull id tiġi tħares djagonalment ’il fuq.

The sign for HANDYMAN has two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands that take the shape of closed 5, one hand starting palm facing upwards and the other hand with the palm facing downwards. The hands hit each other on the palm about three times and each time turn over so the palm faces the other way. (ii) The second part is the sign for WORK. This is made with both hands in the shape of a fist with the palms facing sideways. One fist is placed over the other.

There is a variant of the sign that also consists of two parts. (i) The sign for MAKE is made first with both hands in the shape of U. The U fingers of one hand move downwards twice over the fingers of the other hand until they touch. (ii) In the second part the sign for EVERYTHING is made. Both hands take the shape of open 5 and are placed very close to each other with the palms facing diagonally outwards at neck level. The hands rotate to the sides, outwards and then inwards again forming a ball shape. The palms end up facing diagonally upwards.
