GĦADIRA (BAY)
There are two signs for GĦADIRA. The first sign is made with both hands. One hand is held lying stationary with palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of L and moves over the first hand from the hand to the elbow, brushing against it lightly.
The second sign is made with one hand in the shape of L at head level. The hand rotates quickly from the wrist so that the palm first faces outwards and then faces inwards.
A variant of this sign is the same as the sign for SAND or SALT. One hand takes the shape resembling that for N. The finger tips rub against each other and the thumb as when one is adding a pinch of salt to food.
It is worth noting that the shape for L not for GĦ is used in the first two signs.
