In Maltese the names for the days of the week, from Sunday to Saturday are the numbers 1 to 7. The sign for THURSDAY is made with one hand that takes the shape of 5 with fingers apart and with palm facing inwards and arm vertically oriented from the elbow. The hand moves towards the other side whilst the elbow stays in place.
