Is-sinjal għal INDIRIZZ għandu tliet partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal FEJN? Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id timxi ftit minn naħa għal oħra fil-livell tal-qadd, mingħajr ma ċċaqlaq id-driegħ wisq. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal QAGĦAD. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq. L-id titqiegħed bil-pala qrib il-ġenb tar-ras. (iii) Fit-tielet parti jsir is-sinjal għal DAR. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 milwi, titqiegħed qrib ir-ras u imbagħad timxi kemmkemm lejn il-ġenb f’angolu rett.
Kultant is-sinjal għal QAGĦAD isir wara s-sinjal għal DAR.
Fil-konverżazzjoni spiss insibu żewġ partijiet biss, is-sinjal għal DAR imbagħad is-sinjal għal FEJN?
The sign for ADDRESS consists of two or three parts. (i) First the sign for WHERE? is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 with palm facing upwards. The hand moves slightly from side to side at waist level, without displacing the arm much. (ii) In the second part the sign for RESIDE is made. One hand takes the shape of closed 5. It is placed near the side of the head. (iii) Then the sign for HOUSE is made. One hand takes the shape of bent 5 and is placed near the head and then moves away slightly to the side at a right angle.
Sometimes the sign for RESIDE is often made after the sign for HOUSE.
In conversation one often finds this sign made up of only two parts, the sign for HOUSE followed by the sign for WHERE?
