Hemm żewġ sinjali għal INDJA. L-ewwel sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares ’il ġewwa. Il-werrej imiss n-nofs tal-ġbin u jdur fuq l-istess punt mingħajr ma jitlaq il-ġbin. Dan ifakkar fil-bindi, t-tikka miżbugħa fuq il-ġbin ta’ xi Indjani. Varjazzjoni ta’ dan is-sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ A bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares laġenba. Is-saba’ l-kbir imiss n-nofs tal-ġbin flok il-werrej.

It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn bis-saba’ l-kbir maħrug ’il barra u bil-pala tħares laġenba. Is-saba’ l-kbir jolqot in-nofs tal-ġbin u jimxi ftit ’il fuq waqt li jibqa’ jmiss mal-ġbin imbagħad idur f’linja kkurvata ’l fuq ’il barra u ’l isfel.

There are two signs for INDIA. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of 1 with the palm facing inwards. The index finger touches the middle of the forehead and rotates at the same point without losing contact with the forehead. This movement reminds one of the bindi, the painted dot on the forehead of some Indians.

The second sign is made with one hand that takes the shape of a fist with the thumb jutting out and the palm facing the side. The thumb hits the middle of the forehead and moves up a little whilst still touching the forehead. Then it turns over and out and downwards.
