Is-sinjal għal ISQOF isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala tal-id l-oħra. L-idejn jibdew ftit ’l hemm mill-ġenb tar-ras u jitilgħu flimkien ’l fuq waqt li jidħlu iktar lejn xulxin sakemm il-ponot tas-swaba’ jiltaqgħu ’il fuq mir-ras. Dan il-moviment ifakkar fil-forma tal-mitra li tintlibes fuq ir-ras mill-isqfijiet. Is-sinjal jixbaħ is-sinjal għal ARĊISQOF.
The sign for BISHOP is made with both hands in the shape of closed 5 with palms facing each other. Both hands start a little away from the side of the head then move up together moving closer together until the fingertips meet over the head. In this way they form a shape that reminds one of the mitre worn by bishops. This sign resembles that for ARCHBISHOP.
