Is-sinjal għal ISWED isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ A bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ ’il barra u bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. Is-saba’ l-kbir jimxi mal-għonq, mill-ġenb fuq wara djagonalment ’l isfel u ’l barra.
The sign for BLACK is made with one hand that takes the shape of A with the thumb extended and with palm facing the side. The thumb moves on the neck, from the side at the back diagonally downwards and outwards.
