Is-sinjal għal IT-TIENI għandu żewġ partijiet li jingħaqdu b’moviment wieħed. L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal TNEJN b’id waħda li tieqaf quddiem l-ispalla tal-istess naħa bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa . Il-werrej jieqaf bil-ponta tħares ’il fuq. Imbagħad, l-id iddur biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il ġewwa. Din l-aħħar parti, fejn l-id iddur biex il-pala tiġi tħares’il ġewwa tibdel in-numru kardinali għal numru ordinali.

The sign for SECOND is made up of two continuous parts. First, the sign for TWO is made with one hand upright in front of the shoulder of the same side with the palm facing inwards. The index and middle fingers point upwards. Then the hand turns so the palm faces inwards. This last part, where the hand moves so that the palm faces inwards, turns cardinal numbers into ordinals.
