Is-sinjal għal IT-TNEJN isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ V (għan-numru 2) bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u d-driegħ wieqaf ’il fuq mill-minkeb. L-id timxi lejn il-ġenb l-ieħor waqt li l-minkeb jibqa’ fil-post. Bil-Malti, l-ismijiet tal-ġranet tal-ġimgħa, mill-Ħadd sas-Sibt, huma l-ismijiet għan-numri 1 sa’ 7.
The sign for MONDAY is made with one hand that takes the shape of V (for the number 2) with palm facing inwards and arm vertically oriented from the elbow. The hand moves towards the other side whilst the elbow stays in place. In Maltese the names for the days from Monday to Thursday are the numbers 1 to 7.
