There are two different signs for ISRAEL. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of 1. The hand is placed at the side of the head with palm facing sideways and then winds downwards. This reminds one of the long curls traditionally worn by Jews. A variation of this sign is made in a similar way but the index finger spins downwards instead.

The second sign is made with one hand in the shape of 5 bent at the knuckles. The fingers open and shut a little at the chin as though stroking the beard.
