Is-sinjal għal KITTIEBA għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal NIES. . Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u bil-ponot tas-swaba jħarsu lejn il-ġenb. L-id timxi dritt lejn il-ġenb imma bi skossi żgħar f’punti differenti matul it-triq. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal KITEB. Id waħda titqiegħed ’il quddiem forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra tifforma ponn imma bis-saba’ l-kbir imiss il-ponta tal-werrej qisu qed jinżamm lapes. L-id timxi ftit ’il fuq mill-id il-wieqfa u timxi f’linja vertikali qisha qed tikteb fuqha.
The sign for SCRIBES has two parts.(i) First the sign for PEOPLE is made with one hand that takes the shape of closed 5 with the palm facing downwards and fingertips pointing to the side. The hand moves straight towards the other side with light jerks downwards at different points along the way. (ii) The second part is the sign for WRITE. One hand is placed forward in the shape of closed 5 with the palm facing upwards. The other hand forms a fist with the thumb touching the index finger as though holding a pencil. The hand moves in a vertical on the stationary hand as though writing on it.
