Hemm tlett sinjali għal KUĊĊARINA. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvata bil-pala tħares ’il fuq u tieqaf ’l isfel fuq quddiem. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ T, bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, ftit’il fuq mill-ewwel id. Din l-id iddur lura u ’l fuq bi skoss biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il ġewwa. It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ T bil-pala tħares ’il barra livell tal-għonq. Imbagħad iddur ’il ġewwa lejn il-ħalq bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinja għal ŻGĦIR. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 kemm kemm milwija u bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. L-idejn jersqu lejn xulxin biex jindikaw id-daqs. (ii) Imbagħad isir l-ewwel parti tat-tieni sinjal. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ T bil-pala tħares ’il barra livell tal-għonq. Imbagħad iddur ’il ġewwa lejn il-ħalq bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa.
There are three signs for TEASPOON. The first sign is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of curved 5 with palm facing upwards and held stationary low down at the front. The other hand takes the shape of T with palm facing downwards, a little above the first hand, and then turns inwards and up abruptly so that the palm faces inwards. The second hand has two parts. (i) First, the hand takes the shape of T with palm facing outwards at neck level. It then turns inwards to the mouth with palm facing inwards. (ii) Then, the sign for SMALL is made. The hand takes the shape of Q and turns with palm facing the side. The third sign also has two parts. (i) First, the sign for SMALL is made. The hands take the shape of slightly bent 5 with palms facing each other. The hands move towards each other to indicate the size. (ii) Then the hand takes the shape of T with palm facing outwards at neck level. It then turns inwards to the mouth with palm facing inwards.
