Is-sinjal għal IMQABBA jixbaħ dak għal MĦABBA. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu il-forma ta’ ponn jew ta’ A u d-dirgħajn mill-minkeb ’l isfel jissalbu fuq is-sider. L-isem tal-post jixbaħ ħafna il-kelma ‘mħabba’.
The sign for MQABBA resembles that for LOVE. Both hands take the shape of a fist or A and the arms from the elbow down are crossed over the chest. The name of the placename is very similar to that of the word ‘mħabba’ (love) .
