Is-sinjal għa ISLA isir b’id waħda. L-ewwel, l-id tieħu l-forma ta’ I fil-ġenb, livell mar-ras bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Imbagħad, l-id tinbidel fil-forma ta’ 5 ftit ikkurvata fl-istess għoli u bil-pala tħares l-isfel.
The sign for SENGLEA is made with one hand. First, the hand takes the shape of I at the side, at head level with palm facing outwards. Then, the hand changes to the shape of slightly curved 5 at the same height with palm facing downwards.
