Is-sinjal għal LANZA magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn laxk u jitqiegħdu fuq xulxin f’ġenb wieħed bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn jitbiegħdu f’salt, waħda ’l fuq u l-oħra ’l isfel qishom qed joħorġu l-lanza minn postha. (ii) Fit-tieni parti l-id li kienet fuq tintefa’ lura fl-għoli fil-ġenb u tintefa’ fl-għoli ’l quddiem.
The sign for LANCE consists of two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands in the shape of a loose fist. The hands are placed over each other at one side with the palm facing inwards. The hands move away from each other suddenly, one upwards and the other downwards as though removing a lance from its holder. (ii) In the second part the hand is thrown back high up at the side and is then thrown forward also high up as though throwing a lance forward.
