Is-sinjal għal LAĠENBA jsir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluqa ftit ’il bogħod minn xulxin bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra u bil-ponot tas-swaba’ jħarsu ’l barra. L-idejn jersqu biex ikunu ftit djagonali lejn naħa, imbagħad lejn in-naħa l-oħra xi darbtejn.

The sign for SIDEWAYS is made with both hands in the shape of closed 5 a little apart and parallel, with palms facing each other and fingertips pointing outwards. The hands move slightly diagonally towards one side and then the other twice or more.

LANDING (ta’ ajruplan)

Is-sinjal għal LANDING isir b’id waħda forma ta’ Y li titqiegħed ’il fuq mir-ras bil-pala tħares ’il barra. L-id tinżel ’l isfel djagonalment sal-qadd u tkompli miexja ftit fuq pjan orizzontali bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Ġieli, l-id l-oħra titqiegħed wieqfa quddiem bil-pala tħares ’l isfel biex isservi bħala l-post fejn jieqaf l-ajruplan.

LANDING (aircraft)

This sign for LANDING is made with the hand in the shape of Y. The hand is placed above head level with the palm facing outwards. It then moves diagonally down to waist level and goes along on a horizontal level with the palm facing downwards. The other hand is often stationary at the front with the palm facing downwards and serves as the landing spot for the plane.
