Is-sinjal għal LHUDIJA għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal MARA. Dan isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Il-werrej jinżel mal-ħadd tal-wiċċ qisu qed imellsu l-ħadd. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal LHUDI, jiġifieri, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1. L-id tibda minn ħdejn il-ġenb tar-ras bil-pala tħares laġenba u l-werrej iserrep ’l isfel. Dan ifakkar fin-nokkli fix-xaħar (payot) tal-Lhud (irġiel) tradizzjonali. Ara LHUDI ukoll.

The sign for JEWESS has two parts. (i) First, the sign for WOMAN is made with one hand that takes the shape for 1 with palm facing outwards. The index finger strokes the cheek downwards. (ii) Then the sign for JEW is made with one hand in the shape of 1. The hand is placed at the side of the head with palm facing sideways and the index finger winds downwards but points upwards. This reminds one of the sidelocks (payot) traditionally worn by the Jews. See JEW also.
