Hemm tlett sinjali għal LOPPU. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal INJEZZJONI. Id waħda jieħu l-forma ta’ K imma bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ. Imbagħad jinżel bħallikieku qed jagħfas is-siringa. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal RAQAD. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u titla’ ħdejn ir-ras bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. Ir-ras tmil u tistrieħ fuqha. It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet ukoll. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 ikkurvata u tersaq bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa quddiem il-wiċċ. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir l-istess sijal għal RAQAD li nsibu fl-ewwel sinjal. Ara ukoll is-sinjal għal LOPPJU FIS-SINSLA TAD-DAHAR (jew EPIDURAL)
There are two signs for ANAESTHETIC. The first sign is made of two parts. (i) First the sign for INJECTION is made with one hand that takes the shape of K but with the thumb extended. The thumb is then pushed down as though pressing on the syringe. (ii) Then the sign for SLEEP is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 and moves towards the head with palm facing the side. The hand bends and rests on it. The second sign also has two parts. (i) First, one hand takes the shape of curved 5 and moves in front of the face with palm facing inwards. (ii) The sign for SLEEP is made in the second part as for the first sign. See also the sign for EPIDURAL
