There are two similar signs for CUNNING. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of 1. The index finger touches the side of the forehead and turns in place twice or more and then moves out towards the side. The eyes are wide open and the eyebrows are raised. This first sign is a modification of the sign for KNOW. The second sign uses one hand in the shape of crooked 1. The index finger touches the side of the forehead and flicks open upwards thus straightening up. The eyes open wide and look upwards towards the hand.
