Is-sinjal għal MALJA għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal imqassar għal ĦWEJJEĠ. Dan isir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin. L-idejn jitqiegħdu fuq il-ħwejjeġ bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa ftit ’l isfel mill-għonq u jiżżerżqu ’l isfel. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal GĦAM. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 kemm kemm milwija u d-dirgħajn jogħlew u jersqu ’l quddiem b’tulhom, jinżlu kemm kemm u jersqu lura, id wara id.
The sign for SWIMSUIT has two parts. (i) First, the shortened sign for CLOTHES is made with both hands in the shape of 5 with fingers apart. The hands are placed on the clothes just below the neck with palms facing inwards. They slide downwards. (ii) Then the sign for SWIM is made. The hands take the shape of slightly bent 5 and the arms move up and then forward with their full length, they then move down and back, one hand slightly after the other.
