Is-sinjal għal MARSALFORN għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal MARSA, jiġifieri l-istess bħas-sinjal għal ŻIEMEL. Id-dirgħajn jintefgħu ’l quddiem u l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ X (jew ponn bil-werrej maħruġ ftit ’il barra) waqt li l-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn jitilgħu u jinżlu qishom r-riedni taż-żiemel li jiċċaqilqu mal-moviment tiegħu. (ii) Għat-tieni parti ż-żewġ idejn jinbidlu fil-forma ta’ B jew 5 magħluqa bil-pala tħares ’il fuq u jersqu ’il quddiem qishom qed jippustjaw dixx fil-forn.
The sign for MARSALFORN has two parts. (i) First the sign for MARSA is made, that is, the same as the sign for HORSE. It is made with the lower arms lying forward almost in horizontal position. The hands are in the X shape (or fist shape with the thumb protruding a little) with palms facing the body. The hands move up and down as though in synchrony with the horse’s reins that move along with the horse. (ii) The hands then change to the shape of B or closed 5 for the second part. They then stretch forward as though placing a dish in the oven.
