Is-sinjal għal MEDITERRAN għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għall-ittra M. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal BAĦAR. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ bil-pala tħares ’l isfel jew laġenba. L-id titqiegħed quddiem tħares ’il barra u timxi f’movimenti ikkurvat biex tiġi tħares lejn il-ġenb. Dan ifakkar fil-mewġ tal-baħar.
The sign for MEDITERRANEAN has two parts. (i) First, the sign for the letter M is made. (ii) Then the sign for SEA is made. One hand takes the shape of open 5 with palm facing downwards or sideways. The hand is placed at the front pointing outwards and moves in curved lines to end up facing the side. This reminds one of the movement of waves.
