Is-sinjal għal MERAVILJAT(A) għandu żewġ partijiet jew tlieta. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 miftuħa li tperper darba jew iktar mill-polz fil-ġenb quddiem l-ispalla. (ii) Imbagħad, il-forma tal-id tinbidel biex is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jiltaqgħu mal-ħadd u s-swaba’ l-oħra jingħalqu. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej iduru ftit ’il quddiem waqt li jkomplu jmissu l-ħadd. (iii) Imbagħad, kultant, l-id terġa’ tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa u tirrepeti l-ewwel parti tas-sinjal.
The sign for AMAZED has three parts. (i) First one hand takes the shape of open 5 and flutters once or more from the pulse at the side in front of the shoulder. (ii) The handshape then changes so that the thumb and index fingers touch whilst the other fingers close. The thumb and index finger rotate forward whilst still touching the cheek. (iii) Then, sometimes, the hand returns to the open 5 shape and the first part of the sign is repeated.
