Is-sinjal għal MINUTA jsir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u titqiegħed wieqfa mill-minkeb biex is-swaba’ jippuntaw ’il fuq u l-pala tħares ’il barra. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-ġenb tal-werrej imiss il-pala tal-id il-wieqfa waqt li l-werrej jimxi lejn is-saba‘ ż-żgħir tal-id il-wieqfa. Hemm varjazzjonijiet żgħar tal-pożizzjoni tal-id il-wieqfa u tar-rata ta’ moviment tal-werrej.
The sign for MINUTE is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of 5 and is held stationary upwards from the elbow so that the fingers point upwards and the palm faces outwards. The other hand takes the shape of 1 with the side of the index finger touching the palm of the stationary hand as the index finger moves towards the pinkie of the stationary hand. There are small variations in the positioning of the stationary hand and the rate of movement of the index finger.
