Is-sinjal għal MONITERAĠĠ għandu tlett partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u tieqaf dritt mill-minkeb bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ V, tmiss taħt l-għajn ħafif u s-swaba’ tal-V jduru ’l barra bi skoss waqt li jippuntaw lejn l-id il-wieqfa, l-id forma ta’ V tinżel iktar ’l isfel u tirrepeti l-moviment. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal TAJJEB. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ ’il barra u jipponta ’l fuq u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. (iii) Fl-aħħar isir is-sinjal għal ĦAŻIN. L-id iddur waqt li tinbidel għall-forma ta’ I bil-pala tħares ’il barra.
The sign for MONITORING has three parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of 1 and is held stationary and upright from the elbow with the palm facing the side. The other hand takes the shape of V, touches under the eye lightly and the V fingers turn outwards jerkily whilst they point at the stationary hand. The hand then moves downwards and repeats this same movement. (ii) Then the sign for GOOD is made. One hand takes the shape of a fist with the thumb protruding outwards and pointing upwards and with palm facing inwards. (iii) Finally, the sign for BAD is made. The hand turns as it changes to the shape of I with the palm facing outwards.
