Hemm żewġ sinjali għal MOSÈ. L-ewwel sinjal magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għall-ittra M fuq quddiem. (ii) Fit-tieni parti ż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn u jitqiegħdu fil-ġenb, waħda bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala l-oħra qishom qed izommu xi ħaġa. Imbagħad l-idejn jinżlu ftit qishom qed iqiegħdu l-oġġett f’postu. It-tieni sinjal ukoll għandu żewġ partijiet differenti. (i) Fl-ewwel parti id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-saba’ l-kbir stirat ’il barra. Is-saba’ l-kbir u s-swaba’ l-oħra jmissu x-xedaq waqt li jersqu qrib xulxin. Imbagħad l-id tkompli nieżla dritt ’l isfel bħallikieku qed tmelles il-baffi twila. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal BASTUN. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn u titqiegħed fil-għoli fil-ġenb qisha qed iżżomm xi bastun.
There are two signs for MOSES. The first sign consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for the letter M placed at the front. (ii) The second part is made with both hands in the shape of a fist placed at the side with palms facing as though holding some object. Then the hands move down as though putting the object in place. The second sign also has two parts. (i) In the first part one hand takes the form of 5 with outstretched thumb. The thumb and the fingers touch the chin as they move close to each other. Then the hand moves straight down as though stroking a long beard. (ii) In the second part the sign for WALKING STICK is made. One hand takes the shape of a fist and is placed high up on one side as though it is holding a walking stick.
