Is-sinjal għal NAZZJONALITÀ għandu tlett partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal PERSUNA. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ L kkurvata bil-pala tħares ’il barra u bis-swaba’ jippuntaw ’il barra. L-id tinżel dritt ’l isfel. (ii) Imbagħad, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-werrej jipponta djagonalment ’il fuq u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra żżomm il-forma ta’ L kkurvata u l-werrej u s-saba’ l-kbir imissu l-werrej tal-id il-wieqfa. (iii) Fl-aħħar isir is-sinjal għal FEJN b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id tagħmel moviment imferfer, bħal f’ċirku zgħir, waqt li żżomm l-istess forma.
The sign for NATIONALITY has three parts. (i) First, the sign for PERSON is made. One hand takes the shape of curved L with palm facing outwards and fingers pointing outwards. The hand moves straight downwards. (ii) Then, one hand takes the shape of 1 with the index finger pointing diagonally upwards and palm facing downwards. The other hand keeps the shape of curved L and the index finger and thumb touch the index finger of the stationary hand. (iii) Finally, the sign for WHERE is made with one hand in the shape of 5 with the palm facing upwards. The hand makes a small fluttering, circular movement keeping the same shape.
