Is-sinjal għal PARACHUTING għandu żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-ponta tal-werrej tħares ’il fuq u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra, bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvata ħafna tmiss jew kważi tmiss mal-werrej tal-ewwel id. Din l-id tinfetaħ waqt li togħla ’l bogħod mill-ewwel id sakemm is-swaba’ jiddrittaw livell mar-ras. Imbagħad tinżel ’l isfel waqt li titbandal ’l hawn u ’l hemm. It-tieni parti tixbaħ is-sinjal għal ĦAJK jew HIKE. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin u mgħawġin, bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u bil-ponot tas-swaba’ jmissu l-ġnub taħt l-ispalla qishom qed iżommu ċ-ċineġ ta’ xi backpack. L-ispalel joqomsu ftit laġenba.

The sign for PARACHUTING has two parts. The first part is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of 1 with the tip of the index finger pointing upwards and with the palm facing downwards. The other hand, with the palm facing downwards, takes the shape of very curved 5 and touches or almost touches the index finger of the first hand. This hand opens up whilst it moves up, far from the first hand until the fingers straighten at head level. Then it moves downwards as it swings around. The second part resembles the sign for HIKE. It is made with both hands in the shape of 5 with fingers apart and bent, palms facing inwards and fingertips touching the sides below the shoulders as though holding the straps of a backpack. The shoulders swivel sideways a little.
