Is-sinjal għal PARIĠI jsir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ U bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jimxu mill-ġenb estrem fuq in-naħa t’isfel taż-żona tas-sinjali, jidħlu ’l ġewwa u jitilgħu sakemm is-swaba’ jiltaqgħu quddiem il-wiċċ. Dan il-moviment ifakkar fil-forma tat-torri ta’ Eiffel.

The sign for PARIS is made with both hands in the shape of U and with palms facing downwards. The hands move from the extreme bottom side of the signing space, move in and up until the fingers meet in front of the face. This movement reminds one of the shape of the Eiffel Tower.
This sign is occasionally used for FRANCE as well.
